It is no question that New Zealand boasts beautiful locations that attract a lot of Filipino tourists. Furthermore, many Overseas Filipino Workers have chosen to permanently reside in this breathtaking country. Thus it is great news for Filipino tourists that they no longer need to pay the application fee for paper submission or online submission for a visitor’s visa.
The New Zealand government has waived the Php6,260 fee for paper submission or NZ$165 for online application when getting a New Zealand Visitor Visa.
According to the New Zealand Immigration website, “Citizens of the Philippines do not have to pay a fee or immigration levy for this application, when coming to New Zealand for fewer than 60 days.”
The Visa Application Center (VAC) Service Fee (Php570-760) and Courier Fee (Php380-600), however, still needed to be paid. You will be charged a courier fee if you can no longer travel back to the embassy to collect the documents you have submitted.
