How OFWs Can Take Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS) for FREE

If you are an aspiring Overseas Filipino Worker,  you are required to take the Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar (PEOS) before you can leave the country. This was set as a pre-qualification requirement by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA).

Before you can submit your application to a POEA-accredited agency, you must first have passed the PEOS online. Recruitment agencies are likewise required to process documents of applicants who have completed the online PEOS.

The comprehensive module can be taken free of charge and can be accessed through a desktop computer or smart phone with a working internet connection.  Thus, applicants can take the module at their convenience.

Here is a step-by-step guide to help you complete the module.

  1. Visit the website peos.poea.gov.ph. Choose the appropriate training module for you. The existing modules are PEOS Online for Professionals and Skilled Workers; and PEOS Online for Domestic Workers.
  2. Fill out the required information to register. If you have an existing Jobstreet.com account, you may use it to login.
  3. Once logged in, you can navigate through the modules. You need to answer the questions after each module. You need to get at least three correct answer to be able to move to the next module.
  4. For PEOS Online Domestic Workers, proceed to Part 2 after passing all 7 modules on Part 1. Select your destination country and answer the next questions.
  5. After completing the module and passing the tests, you will receive an email notification of the results plus a Certificate of Completion which you can print and submit to POEA directly.

You can register for the PEOS online even if you still do not have any prospect employer. If you are thinking about working overseas, the PEOS online can help make your journey as an OFW much easier.
